The police wanted to innovate around a challenge they faced every day, their challenge was "how to enhance interaction between law enforcement and the public." After months of thorough research by corporate innovators, the culmination of their efforts was an intensive online design sprint week (during corona). My role was to ideate and execute the design of a prototype app aimed at enhancing police-public communication. The app, accessed by scanning QR codes on police caution tape, provided incident details. Users could also report as witnesses or submit media evidence, fostering a two-way interaction with law enforcement. Post-design sprint, the prototype experienced several iterations and extensive tests. Its innovation even drew some media attention. Currently, we are addressing a second and third innovation challenge for the police. Due to the ongoing development of these projects, I'm unable to share additional mockups at this time.
