Arkimedes help people take control of their home energy. Mission: Power to the People. The brief was to make clean energy feel genuinely accessible rather than preachy, with a visual identity and website that met homeowners where they actually are.
The challenge with clean energy brands is that they tend to land in one of two traps: full corporate utility, or full eco-warrior. Neither works for the homeowner who just wants to understand their options without being lectured. Arkimedes sits in the middle, and the design had to hold that position without sliding either way.
I collaborated with Max Hoefeijzers on the visual identity, built around a forest green and electric lime palette that already had real character. My job was making it feel alive in Webflow rather than just branded. That meant direct language, functional navigation, and messaging that explains what Arkimedes actually does rather than restating what they believe.
Everything in the design points toward clarity. Every element that made clean energy feel complicated or exclusive got stripped back. The result is a site that earns trust by being straightforward about what the product is and who it's for.
