Vinho de Panache is a new wine brand, and the brief was exactly what you'd want it to be: sophisticated, minimalistic, and Instagram-worthy. The kind of brand that looks like it's been around for decades even though it launched last year.
The VP monogram anchors the whole identity. The refined serif holds the weight the category requires without feeling like it's trying too hard. And buried in the negative space of the letterforms is a wine bottle outline that you either spot immediately or find later and smile at. That's the kind of detail that makes a mark worth looking at twice.
Wine branding is a specific craft because the visual language of the category is extremely established. Breaking from it risks looking naive. Staying too close to it risks looking generic. The VP mark sits in the right place: clearly premium, clearly wine, clearly not like everything else on the shelf next to it.
The identity extends across label design, digital, and packaging in a way that holds together without needing to repeat itself. When every element knows what it is, the system holds itself up.
